Required online training
Before arriving on campus for the upcoming year, students may need to complete mandatory online orientation programs, including a session focused on Title IX and anti-harassment training.
Students attending summer programs must complete required training before July 5. Those arriving on campus in the fall will need to wait for an August notification that it is time to begin the training modules. The completion deadline for fall arrivals is September 3.
Title IX harassment training for graduate students
This required training course addresses the shared responsibility of all RISD community members to foster a healthy, safe and productive learning environment based on mutual respect and care.
Graduate students starting at RISD must complete Title IX training before beginning classes or accessing campus buildings. To take the course:
- click "start now" below
- register using your RISD email address—not your personal email—and enter the course ID, which is "Title IX" (case sensitive)
- obtain the course verification code via your RISD email and enter it into the course guide (please check your spam folder if you do not receive the verification code in your inbox)
Note: The Title IX Harassment Training course is required for all new students beginning at RISD this fall.
