Push the possibilities of creative practice
Graduate students at RISD form a global community of critical thinkers and makers who delve deep into their disciplines, investigate intriguing concepts and innovate within and beyond the studio. Working closely with the artists, designers, architects, scholars and educators who teach here, they experiment with materials and methods in spacious, well-equipped studios and interdisciplinary spaces. Throughout their studies, grad students also engage in ongoing critiques designed to further stimulate creative exploration and collaboration.
