RISD works with and supports a variety of clubs and online communities connecting alums, and provides an array of services for makers at all stages of their professional lives.

Alumni clubs
In select cities and regions worldwide, clubs meet locally to organize ongoing events and activities designed to meet the needs and interests of alumni in these groups and in their area. You can look for regional alumni clubs, affinity groups and more at alumni.risd.edu.
ArtWorks career portal
With nearly 4,000 postings per year specifically directed to RISD students and alums, ArtWorks is an essential resource for supporting creative practice. Listings include full-time, part-time, freelance, grant and exhibition opportunities in all art and design and related disciplines.
Career advising
RISD Careers offers direct career advising to all alumni regardless of graduation year. Deeply engaged staff help determine next steps after completing your degree program and how to translate your education into fulfilling creative and professional experiences. Advising sessions can aid you in developing strategies for finding work, internship and grant opportunities, refining portfolios and application materials, marketing, and building a professional network
LinkedIn alumni network
With more than 9,600 members, the RISD Alumni group on LinkedIn makes it easy to connect with other RISD grads and discover the range of creative organizations, companies and projects that they engage in all around the world. It is an essential networking resource for graduate alumni across all disciplines.

RISD Careers provides rich and comprehensive career-building resources for artists and designers. Explore the center's website for information about grants, residencies, business opportunities, entrepreneurship, career tutorials and preparation, exhibition opportunities and more.
RISD marketplaces and art sales
For alumni who run online retail shops, RISDmade is a convenient website to show and find great work created by RISD grads around the world. The work you'll find is diverse, eclectic, and emblematic of the craftsmanship and range of personal voices that runs through our community of makers.
Alumni can also participate in RISD Craft, a juried sale that happens every October in Providence during RISD Weekend. Participants in the event also get to share insights into their process and practice with people who come out for this popular annual event.
