Summer orientation events

Before classes start, incoming RISD graduate students enjoy opportunities to connect with peers and learn more about resources on campus.

Our summer slate of virtual events includes student Q&A sessions, alumni panels, thesis talks and presentations about various opportunities open to RISD grad students. These optional events show you how to make the most of your graduate experience and help you meet fellow grad students.

When you arrive in Providence you can learn your way around campus by joining a grad-specific campus tour or attending Graduate Studies-hosted social events during the first few weeks of the semester.

All event times eastern. If you cannot attend an event, you may also watch recordings posted on this website. Keep an eye on your RISD email for more details to come in late May and over the summer.
