Summer orientation events

Before classes start, incoming RISD graduate students enjoy opportunities to connect with peers and learn more about resources on campus.

Our summer slate of virtual events includes student Q&A sessions, alumni panels, thesis talks and presentations about various opportunities open to RISD grad students. These optional events show you how to make the most of your graduate experience and help you meet fellow grad students. Recordings of past events can be found here.

When you arrive in Providence you can learn your way around campus by joining a grad-specific campus tour or attending Graduate Studies-hosted social events during the first few weeks of the semester.

All event times eastern. Keep an eye on your RISD email for details and updates!
